El 24 de octubre fue instituido por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) como el Día Internacional contra el Cambio Climático, con el propósito de concientizar sobre los efectos de la crisis climática, así como tomar medidas que ayuden a disminuir el impacto de las actividades humanas que la provocan.
Desde Chubut estamos trabajando en el Plan Provincial de Respuesta al Cambio Climático (PPRCCCH), desarrollando estrategias de adaptación y mitigación de acuerdo a los ODS.
El cambio climático es una problemática mundial, por lo tanto requiere un esfuerzo colaborativo entre el Estado, las industrias y la sociedad en general. Solo trabajando juntos podemos revertir la gran crisis ambiental de nuestra generación.
